As an athlete or active individual, muscle tightness, soreness, and movement restrictions can limit your performance. Dry needling is a targeted treatment that helps reduce tension, restore mobility, and speed up recovery — so you can keep training at your best.
What Is Dry Needling?
Dry needling uses thin, sterile needles inserted into tight or overactive muscles (trigger points). The goal is to release tension, improve blood flow, and reset how the muscle functions — quickly and effectively.
Unlike traditional Chinese acupuncture, which works on whole body systems holistically, dry needling focuses directly on the muscle.
Why Athletes Use It
Dry needling can help:

Improve mobility and flexibility
Reduce post-training soreness
Release deep muscle tension
Support faster recovery between sessions
Prevent injuries from overuse or compensation
Enhance muscle activation and efficiency
Whether you're prepping for competition or just pushing your limits in training, dry needling can help you move better and feel better — fast.
What to Expect in a Session
Assessment first – I’ll check for tightness, imbalances, or movement restrictions.
Needling treatment – Needles are inserted into specific muscles. You might feel a twitch or mild ache — this is normal and short-lived.
Aftercare – Soreness for 24–48 hours is common. Most people feel looser, lighter, and notice improved movement soon after.
Dry needling is often combined with Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, cupping, stretching, mobility work, or rehab exercises for more effective and lasting results.
Ready to Try It?
If you’re dealing with muscle tightness, slow recovery, or want to stay injury-free while performing at your best — dry needling could make a real difference.
